Hi everyone need help identifying this one. My wife ordered this for me as a gift a little over a year ago online and purchased it as a "spotted shovelnose". It looks a lot like my ts but shorter snout and whiskers are about twice as long. Any ideas?

Okay. I could be wrong but I believe that pseudoplatystoma fasciatum is the darker one and pseudoplatystoma tigrinum is the other

Spotted shovelnose is often a name used for tsnxanchara crosses.
This fish does look to have have some traits of marmoratus cat such as head, mouth, whiskers. Victor will confirm but I think tsn cross with either a marmoratus cat, or even with a tsnxanchara cross itself to produce 2nd generation cross. Looks to have a lot of tsn in its genes.
