Your fish is a Metriaclima estherae OB (orange blotch). The term "marmalade cat" refers to orange blotched male mbuna.

ahh, that is why common names suck... Each fish has like fifty and people start calling other fish that look close to it the same thing...

They do indeed!
But, sometimes I think both are needed. Some folks are just too lazy to learn the proper name of a fish.
