I found him in a creek in central texas. I'm not an artist but if you recognize it please tell me what it is.

Note: -In the picture I drew, it kind of looks like hes got spots on his back but in actuality it's just splotchy coloring.

The dots on his head are raised, course, and hard like rocks.

Also his mouth is sucker-shaped...so if that did't really come across in the drawing, keep that in mind.

That's a pretty darn good drawing. I'm pretty sure you've found a central stoneroller. Since you described the hard bumps on it's head (tubercles), you found a male.

I just realized I've got two more without the bumps. They are a little smaller but I think they are the same thing. They are with a bunch of blacktail shiners so I didn't realize they were there at first.
