Identify my fish

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
How long has the tank been running? It's good that the ammonia and nitrite are at zero but you usually see some nitrates with cycled tanks.

Its been running for about 4 days. We used the filter for a pretty setup tank. Plus some wood from a pretty setup tank. No fish added yet.

if you used a filter and filter media, like sponges and bio stuff, from an already established tank to set this tank up then it should be ready to go. it would've been ready to go almost instantly.

Yep I did just didn't know for sure. Honestly prior to this I've always filled the tank up got to temp and put fish in Lol. That would explain why majority of the new fish would die.

That's a bad route to take. But if you leave the filters untouched and just them over to a tank, that new tank is ready for fish.
