hi i just bought a bichir which was sold as endli. i was wondering how come its darker compared to my other endli

Yeah it's an endli, a pretty nice and unique looking one too. It's probably darker mainly because it hasn't fully adjusted to your white substrate, but the other one has.
i think youre right about not fully adjusted yet. the guy i bought it from had the bichir in a bare bottom tank. i really like the color on it!
