More pics...:D

sandtigerYup, it's a koi. Won't be able to live in that 220g forever so you'll probably have to put it back in your pool or find a new home for it (don't release it back into the wild).

This thing will outlive me! Like they can get 200+ years old. When it outgrows I will find it a good home. His new name is "Bull Red"

Nice tat dude. Won't be sleeping on that side for a while I bet...looks painful!

That is a good find because the thing ate right away and it was fairly grown, your 220 is 24" wide i think. That means alone,it could turn around till it was 23 1/2......and you could axe the heater too and save$$......If you wanna keep it with the O's and that whole setup works i.e. no aggression then green light till somthing dies.......I never get my Natives to behave ( LMB mostly, kills any and all, never could get tankmates:()I'm shure you know the rest, with a Bio-Load of that size, frequent Water changes would be super imperative.Good luck, that Koi is already Coloured up somthing nice:) Thank you for the comment.........sleep???what is sleep????hahahahahahaha, thank lord for Digital Cable.

That's a really nice Koi that someone tossed away that you caught.

Great color on it.

Nice fish!

Now for the bad..........

1. It is a cold water fish and making him adapt to the tropical temps of the tank is "wrong" and will eventually stress him/her out.

2. IMO you took a huge risk putting that fish in with your established fish. Who knows what pathogens you have now introduced into your tank.

3. KOI generally do not thirive in a "tank" environment. I would suggest putting him back in the pond/pool he was in.

Not flaming just voicing my opinion. ;)

def a koi(carp) but it will need to be moved as it is a tropical cold water fish can't sustainits immune system if temps are above 70-73 degrees looks good though. If yo decide to sell let me know my wife loves the way it looks and wants it for her pond.
