Id'ing help please

ya you have your self a nice little male. I would recommend adding a substrate. It will really be appreciated by the dovii. They like to dig and it seems to me that a bare bottom is stressful for fish. Very unnatural and plus they love to dig out their territory.

Very nice. If you like bare bottom but want it to look more natural you can do slate bottom, I literally used titles from homedepot and they work great. Actually about to try something really "fancy" with slate bottom and sand/gravel substrate that I think will be clean and something the fish like.

He got pretty yellow on him.

I think from more blue to more yellow depends on the individual, and even before that, depend on their parents. A batch from a pair can range from one with most yellow to one with most blues; but you wont know unless you grow a bunch of them out until sub adults.

Not because of their from a "known to man" location #1 or #2. Locations can be embed into your mind up to as many # of locations man wants to say. Does not mean there are that much variants.

And he's a small grow out; they start up like that. I think your fish will be more blue n shiny later for sure.
