Guy released a few TSN and RTCs, plus a Buttikoferi. I dont think any of these fish survived long. Since they are also aquarium raised, it will be difficult for them to survive on their own.

my aquarium raised fish i put in my pond just ate the dragonfly larva, misqiuto larva, worms, alagea and goldfish in my outdoor pond so i think it depends on wat u feed them

some people catch redtailcatfishes on lake havasu wich is at the border of sourthern california and arizona but i really doubt they would do any damage becuase the striped bass and tilapia on that lake will do more damage than a lazy catfish

Thats not quite the same. A pond is a smaller enclosed area. In a big lake or river in the wild, they have to find food on their own and they have to know how to survive, watch out for predators etc. Its possible they could survive but its not quite like a pond.

this is soo funny....i donno why some of u {including the thread opener} are trying to act like soo well informed heroes....seriously i laughed soo much when i saw that video and READ the description without making a judgment....
"ohh these ppl are idiots"
"ohh ignorant ppl"
"ruining the hobby"
"irresponsible ppl"
and blah
wondering who the idiots are
be a little less lazy and read the description....he realesed the fish in the HAN RIVER IN KOREA.... or maybee there is a new river named "HAN" in america...

its still a bad thing to release them...as native fish from aquariums can still pick up non-native diseases which they can spread into the environment. So even if they are native fish this is still not a cool move.
