I don't think they're hard to keep at all. I actually gave in and decided to give them a try again, so they were impulse buys. I actually drained water from my 75g into my 20g, turned on the filter, added a heater, and did a drip acclimation. They even had ich when I got them (didn't noticed until I was already on the way home). I lost one of the 5 I got. And then I ended up getting 6 more. And all ate the day I put them in the tank.

I just kept the temp at 84F-86F, added some salt, and that's it.

Right now i have one poly to tide me over, the datnoid is getting me so much more excited than that poly did.

If you lived near me. I would give you 1 or 2 if you would promise to take good care of them.

If you had a datnoid, you could spend all your free time getting the tank just right so your dat will become stable. Then Maybe someday, you can use your free time to sit back and admire one of the most striking, badass fish to own, imo. Something about their eyes always bring a smile to my face

You guys are killing me. Hopefully i will have my dat tank by the end of next month. Who knows.
