And awesome tanks everyone, was awesome going through this thread, took forever but well worth it:)

Electrical has to be completed, then another inspection. After that, the drywall goes up. We have a major build going on around the tank. Setting up the tank will be the last thing that gets done, so don't hold your breath...it's going to be quite a while yet.

Pacu Mom, did you tell the pacus about the tank? Hope you didn't coz they're gonna get all excited and have sleepless nights. Not good for their health. Sick tank by the way.
To the OP, thanks for starting this thread. I'm having fun!

Drywall going up now. Those 150# sheets are heavy! Slow process with just two people. The area to be drywalled is at least 3,000 sq ft. The 28 x 40' garage has 14' walls......and of course, they are starting upstairs......and the fish room will be dead last......

The electrical turned out to be a real work of art

When I threw a generator into the mix, it changed everything. My "whole house" generator is too small for everything, so things were rewired, i.e., the fish tank lights will not be run by the generator, etc.

All of these tanks are an inspiration. I cannot wait to get my 200g Jag tank up and running so that I can join the club!

Thanks, I cannot wait to actually get the glass in. It was all actually suppose to be delivered today with the 3d background and the sump, but it got delayed till this wednesday :(
I will post up pics of the setup in the thread when it is finished this wednesday.:) Cant wait to aquascape this guy, got a stack of driftwood ready:D

The filtration will be just a weir overflow with a large wet/dry and bio balls at the moment. Since it will be primarily bio filtration thinking about chucking in an FX-5 for the mech filtration, but not sure how to go about it yet, will have to wait to see it all set up.

Stocking....This changes depending on what day you ask me!!:nilly:
From the 200g tanks above, will be putting in the big pearsei (cichlid) he is huge now about 12". The balas who are also pushing the 12" mark.
I have a small 3" Thinbar datnoid, I want to chuck him in there after he is off the live food.
I will then either get a mix of silver dollars (only if i can find the black-barred type) if not then a school of tinfoils and lemon-fin barb.

Also should be getting an QLD lungfish :D
But I also want to have a few aussies, so thinking of a Jardini. I had one a while ago that got over 15" and was in a community tank with balas, rainbow fish, silver dollars, and was never aggressive, so hoping if I get a small one who grows up with them, then he will be fine (plus there is lots of room), and if he is agro then he will be banished to the 200g
