Second, your friend is wrong. take him to small claim court if you have to, not sure how much your insurance will be but he'll be paying your court fee and whatever you have to pay for insurance. i'm pretty sure he/she can't weasel their way out of this one in court

its funny when people say "its just a prelude". and LOL when people say fart cans. puttin an exhaust on that H22 baby gains power. yes it may be loud but theres a difference when putting an exhaust on a car that has power vs a car that doesnt have power. i bet vtec sounded sweet on that prelude. and im sure those idiots got vtec happy with that prelude and messed it up.

I think your "friend" should no longer be classified as such and they may need an education in traffic law. While no expert I am fairly confident that whoever was driving the car at the time of the incident is responsible and should also have adequate insurance to drive the car.
I would be confident in saying that is the same almost the world over. Why would you be responsible for crashing the car when you were not even in it. Call the cops. If your friend refuse to pay it then try escalating it to criminal damage with the cops.

Was your friend insured to drive your vehicle?
If so then he has to supply you with his details to sort this out, I am also confident that is the same or similar the world over. If not then you can tell the cops he was driving without insurance.

You do realise that your friend was working on orders from your ex boyfriend to get you to lend your car. The ex and his new gf's plan was to trash it from the start, you got played. Chalk it up to experience after this mess is done.

Also, my car was insured, if he is in insured personally.. I don't know, we will find out in court.
Well whats funny is my ex had called me about something, I don't even remember what it was about because I didn't pay too much attention to what comes out of his mouth anymore. Well he called as I was giving my "friend" the keys and telling him whatever gas he used, he would be putting back in.. Yeahh well, we see how that turned out.
