yeah i mean i do wish they were cheaper but they are harder to raise than most other cichlids so its very understandable why they have a higher price tag the more money somebody has to put into raising a fish the more money they are going to ask for in return, and with them being more expensive it wards off a lot of potential newbies from just buying them because they look cool and not researching or anything before getting them

i will def check that out once i find sumn thats at least 4 by 18 or something at least that width cause i would want to keep at least 8 4 from 1 supplier and 4 from another i dont know y i just dont like the thought of interbreeding :screwy:

i understand that as well if i buy a fish that is not a cichlid then i try to look for something at least 2.5 i would hate to get doa or even worse if they died because of new tank stress :duh:

i do understand that but its like 400 for a proven pair goddayum ! espeacially since they are already proven so they probably had some fry
