Bought a trio of A. borellii two weeks ago and the male is easily 4"+ with beautiful fins. Very difficult to take pictures though...he's shy and they are in a heavily planted 20g.

The smaller female already bred. I suspect that it won't be long for the larger one if she hasn't already :)

Congrats! Got any tips? I have a pair of A. cacatuoides at my mom's house. She's taking care of them when I'm gone but I'd like to breed them this summer. Here's a crappy pic of mine:

Very cool Peter. After I do this pike/discus thing Im planning Im going look into a small planted apisto setup for sure. I have the tank, lighting and hardware I just would like to find a good local source for the fish. And find some space for them of course....
