If you are a dialy feeder, don't feed your fish...

I tried the one day a week fasting a while back but my fish are just such good beggars I ended up caving in.

I could definitely see how it could be beneficial though; maybe one day I'll have the will power :)

O.O.... lol... yeah fasting is ime great even for young fish... more to flush their system then anything to do with my cleaning regime ect. atm my gar,rays,and eel only get fed 1x a week maybe 2x... One big meal, then they are good for days. finally getting abit of chub offa my FLG. but yes your water cows def need to eat more regularly... something about not haveing a stomach and all.

Just depends on the fish.

Agreed. Yeah, the no stomach thing throws off the whole equation. But my group can survive a day. I'm thinking right about now they are kind of upset with me. But hey, they can root around for snails all day. :)

I've tried many times too. I am going to try and make it stick this time. I'm looking at it this way, its beneficial for them, and me giving in was just to satisfy my needs. :)
