If you bought a 10' long tank....

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
well for something not so deep but very long, i'd go with a couple nice polypterus such as a few laps, ornates, delhezi. the shoal of silver dollars would be nice, then maybe a jag for a centerpiece along with a few other cichlids and a couple nice sized kitty kats.

silver arow, pacu, pbass, rays...a SA biotope basically

I would have a new world cichlid tank. Oscars, JD, GT, RD, Cons, Jag etc. Some plecos too.

Hi,
my new 10ft x 3ft x 3ft is just having its settling in time after it was built last week.
I intend to stock with 2 oscars, 4 small polypterus, 8 talking cats, 2 synodontis, 4 clown loach and take it from there.

What would you stock it with?

Lately, I'm really into nicely planted and landscaped freshwater community tanks. So, believe it or not, I'd go with a selection of barbs, tetras, gouramis, cory cats, maybe some loaches... Things like that.
