Yeah Bigspizz, that looks like the real deal. Where did you find that little beast in a baby wrapper?

Twhittle took a trip to Seattle and happened across the best LFS in the universe, hit me up asked if I had any "needs" and once he said they had true tri macs (and the owner was fully aware of the sham going on at the pet giant) I swooped it up along with a Regani, Nanolutus, Haitensis, and a few others. I almost had my school of exo's also ALMOST:irked:

when i got him in sept.

Why people call a flowern that looks like a true trimac low grade ones? They should be called AAA+++++"trimac special super duper fish" flowerhorn!

LOL yeah I guess your right but it could have gone either way at the time I made this thread. I still think the thread belongs here to help educate our memebers about Petsmart's so called Amphilophus Trimaculatus by confirming that they're incorrect. Petsmart should get rid of the ID cards with the scientific name and simply call them 3 spot cichlid or Flowerhorn.[/QUOTE]

Just for you balton, PetSmart will no longer carry Trimac/FH/whatevers. Sorry, I lied. No longer carrying the three spot, but had nothing to do with balton777, just had to yank his chain a little bit. Actually if any are left, we just marked them down to 2.00. Had to make room for the frontosa that we now carry for $25. Taking bets now as to how big they get before someone actually wants one. They are about one and a half inches now.

Hi Dragonfish. How's it going? This thread wasn't intended to bash Petsmart, honestly. I just wanted to see some of the 3-spots now that they've grown some just to be sure. Now I have closure on this subject. What happened? Were they just not selling very well? $25 frontosas eh? That's right up there with the $29 snooks.

Well it's good seeing you around. I never get to talk to you unless I put Petsmart in my thread title lol.
