If you could keep one cichlid what would you choose and why????

Ok so right now im growing out festeas, a grammodes, a cuban, lyonsi, istlanum, and a trimac. I'm attempting to see who will play nice with each other. But then i got thinking about what fish would i keep alone or in a pair. My favorite fish of the ones i have are the cuban, trimac, and grammodes. The odds of them working together are very slim i know that but its worth a try. I'm not asking for help here just wondering what fish people would keep alone if they had too cause their other fish arent working.

My choices would be
1-umbee
2-grammodes
3-festea male or female if i didnt have a pair
4-trimac

trimac alone is good,personable fish.mine is very active and curious.i had grammodes but he hid alot

Cichla....Lenticulata is also a personal favorite.....

my grammodes is about 3 1/2 inches and never hides he comes right up when i feed him

a jack alone, didnt expect that one but i had a big jack and he was awesome so good choice

I would keep what i aready keep, a Texas, otherwise I'd go with a Flower Horn or even a cuban.
