Festae all the way, size, attitude and color variation are second to none. I have several and they are all beautiful and unique in their own way.

I've not had the pleasure of keeping a lot of different cichlids since the fish I have owned have all been long term, and they have all been common varieties. I have kept breeding oscars, breeding JD, breeding convicts, firemouths in a planted set up, and various breeding Africans. Right now I'm keeping a Flowerhorn. Of the fish I've had it's a toss up between the Oscar and the Flowerhorn. I do have a wish list of fish to eventually keep though, a Red Severum (hopefully with a mate), Grammodes Pair, Lyonsi Pair.
