I would definitely have some tetras in mine

Along with a couple silver aros, a black aro, couple of rotkeil severums, geophagus abalios, geophagus altifrons, some cory cats and a big old BGK

x2 I am with Brian on this one. Never had a tank big enough for a silver aro before so not sure on that one but it would look great none the less.

um i would probably do either a geo tank with some severums, chocolate cichlids and some other pieceful cichlids OR an aggressive tank like red terror, devils, dovii, jags, something in that nature.

1 Pair of RTM, 1 pair of Festae or Jags, 1 Salvini, 2-3 same sex cons, and maybe a Texas/Carpintes or something else.

Set up obvious, and well defined, territories at each end of tank for the 2 pairs. Create a complex rock pile, or driftwood tangle, in the middle with good hidey holes for your Sal and Cons.

That is what I would do.
