Hmmm, depending on the dimensions, I might go for an aquascaped Discus tank with some rummynose and cardinal tetras, cories and a couple neat plecos.

Or perhaps a couple large oddballs. An ornate bichir, a few nice L-numbers, other fish...

you could try and do a "Noah's arc"

2 tetras, 2 pleco, 2 angel fish...

would make for a good conversation piece and if you got the balance right kids will enjoy seeing the different fish.
