word, i love my dovii and jaguars. idk about a single specimen tank though. id rather do a comm if you want guapotes.
you can do a silver aro in a 180. it will get really big though.

or if you want to check out a salt set up, go with a single panther grouper. i used to have 2. they kick ass

Yeah gouramis are a little ugly, but something about them i like, do they really have that much personality?

I think they do. A fish store I used to go to had one that was 20+ years old and he was very curious. He would swim up to the front of his tank as if to greet you. He was probably just hoping to get fed, but he was definitely an interesting fish. But I have also seen some larger one's that were pretty boring. I guess fish are like any other living creature...there's a lot of variety within the same species. Some are cooler than others.

My baby (a beautiful 7" Pacu) would LOVE it in there. Although, knowing myself, after a while I'd just add a bunch more fish. Oscars and Arowanas and maybe even rays! Oh, the possibilities!
