yes it's a 270 gallon

Not a fan of 36" of height....our new 265 gallon will be 30" tall and that's the most height I want to deal with.

it's all preference. Personally I like high tanks, they look much better on display but they need to be as wide or wider. It looks odd if the height greatly exceeds the width but when they are similar the look very nice.
