yes you'll want to collect it straight out of a volcano, prefurably during an eruption.

remember kids, this stuff is hot, so wear latex gloves when you are handling it.

Molten lava is roughly 1000 degrees give or take a couple hundred at any given time

I wouldn't suggest handling it

i handle it all the time and i only have a couple third degree burns on whats left of my arms.
