And I didn't. I think I actually skipped across the parking lot. It was love at first sight.
oops i meant would i have bumble fingers today making typos everywhere:screwy:

My pair that looks a lot like that costed about $25... but they weren't a pair at the LFS. I just picked a male and female and got lucky.

I almost paid $69 for a single rotkeil severum tho lol so it all depends on how much u want the fish and the availability.

If you could get a pair @ the size Dissy got for $25 bux you're extremely lucky.

On our local forum 1 would probably cost $45-65.
A proven pair would cost(be worth) quite a bit more, since you'll make it back in the 1st spawn.

IMO $99 is worth it, I've been looking for sevs like that for a while.
I've seen some in LFS with much less colors go for the same/near the same price.

No they're around 5" only. I didn't say it's not worth it, I would have paid that much if I hadn't found them cheaper. As I said before I almost bought a single rotkeil for $69 at a local shop

Lets not spoil the thread with nickel and dime details, this is why I dont believe in sharing prices on open threads.

Nice fish.

Fear not. It's not spoiled. A fish is worth what the end buyer is willing to pay, and not a penny more.

I took those pics less than an hour after I put them in my tank. If that's the coloration they have after only that long (they were even more pale at the fish store), then I can't wait to see what they look like when they're comfortable with their surroundings.
