There are several diseases that are dangerous to humans that are sometimes found in tanks, hemoragic septicimia, fish tuberculosus and Pfeisteria are some, here is a blurb for you Chesapeake Bay people who keep brackish natives,
Broad, W.J. (1997). Battling the cell from hell. National Wildlife, 35(5): 10.
Pfiesteria piscicida is a microbe discovered by scientist JoAnn M. Burkholder that is very dangerous. Pfiesteria has been known to wipe out rivers by killing huge numbers of fish, and it causes nausea, disorientation and memory loss in humans.

The memory loss can be accompanies by lowered IQs and loss of coordination and is permanent
hey i think i know a couple people who have that....mmmmm.... or maybe they have just smoked to much pot but it could be that too....

I know a few people who like deformed fish. Those are more likely to have a rare diseases(a disease that can transfer to humans).

After Reading this Posts, I have called my Local Pest Control Guy to come out and spray the hell out of my house next week. I have to make sure to cover all the tanks though!!! Thanks for the Nightmares MFK!!:WHOA: :swear:

brown recluses have been found in virginia west virginia PA maryland all the way down to florida i have personally seen them in the top 4 states a lady in my town was actually bit on her hip from a recluse and almost died cause the doctors had no clue. i have educated the guys i work with about them and showed them what they look like so they dont get bit

Same, but try not to bump 2 year old threads...

Thats my second fav spider! i feel bad for that guy but hey how many murders a year?lets stay away from fellow human beings j/k but still dogs can do a lot more damage then that. the brown recluse is one of the worst spiders because there is no effective antivenom. the venom itself isnt as bad as many spiders but the black widow brazilian wandering spider, sydney funnel web etc... all have antivenoms. darn i was looking all over for one of those but i only found black widows:irked: black widows are so slow fat and nonaggressive though:( i held a black widow before they dont deserve the bad rap that they get really
