cichla kelberi or intermedia.
alot of debate about the eventual size of kelberi.but they get below 20".
intermedia get below 20" as well.
both species are not very easy to find and can be very expensive although it seems more and more kelberi are readily available at low prices.
tank size IMO for 2-4 individuals is a 6x2x2.
bigger with more bass.
as with all cichla, keep the temp. high like 87-90.
regular water changes.
I was considering one or two in my pleco tank, i love cichla, but if my tank is only 175ish, i guess i would have to pass...

How regular?
weekly I can do, but school would interfere x2 weekly...

dimensions?
ive heard kelberi grow really slow once they hit a certain point.
intermedia im guessing the same.

everything would depend on your stocking.;)

Cichla intermedia tend to get around an adult size of 18", Cichla kelberi are still fairly unknown, it really depends where they're caught, some areas the Kelberi get large, but a lot of place in South America they tend to not exceed 22" or so.

It would just be the pbass and the pleco, though a tougher cichlid like a midas might go in as well...
The tank is meant for my pleco, but if i can have pbass in there with extra care, im down widdat.

Only garunteed fish in pleco, pleco is priority.
