OK all of you certifyed DIY maniacs out there... Here's your chance to streach your imaginary legs. Post a story about the most unusual thing you've looked at and said or thaught the title phrase.
I'll start everyone off with one of my own....
My wife and I are driving up the coast on our way to the ADA convention this last year when I notice a large number of odd produce trailors bieng pulled along by semi tractors. On closer inspection I discovered that they are made for hauling tomatoes from the fields to the processing plants/markets. The trailors consist of a normal frame and wheels with a HUGE fiberglass and/or plastic tub strapped to it that was completely full of.....you got it.....Tomatoes.
With lttle else to do on a vary long and boring trip my mind started to wonder... Not that my mind really NEEDS an excuse but it's always nice to have one...
Several questions rose to prominance...
1) How much water would one of those 45 foot long...9 foot wide and 4 foot deep monsters hold?
2) What would the best way of filtering one of them be?
3) Heating it?
4) Where could I put one or four of them?
And, of course, the 2 most pressing questions of all...
5) I wonder where they store these things in the off season?
6) Will my new Dodge ram pull one of them empty?
