I think it maybe the end for my oscar. When i noticed she was getting big, i thought she was just full and it would go away in a few hours. But when she stayed the same for a week i thought she might be constipated. So i began doing waterchanges and adding salt. The "swelling" area kinda of stopped "growing" but now has gotten bigger. Lately shes been staying by the drift wood staying still at an angle. I think she might have swallowed a rock and cant pass it. Any Advice is greatly appreciated. Oh yeah, shes in a 120 with another oscar and a few clown loaches.

Starve for a week and dose "Epsom" salt as apposed to aquarium salt. It looks bloated. Hopefully it will be fine. You will need to help her though. She can not do anything from here. She may not make it however and you should know this kind of thing happens. Good luck with her.

so did that help I hope

well here's hopin the fish gets better

The same thing happend to my 1.5 year old 6 inch angel fish last year, He didn't make it and even after I pulled the body out, the belly was still bloated. I wish the best for your oscar.

Hope your oscar makes it. It seems like my JD is going through the exact same thing, Swollen stomach, no eating and a low activity.
