:nilly::):D;)

It's my birthday today (:D) and just yesterday a job opened up at PetSmart in the fish section! :D I'm gonna apply, any tips for someone who lacks a resume?

Be honest!

sorry to burst your bubble but you most likely wont get the job....the petsmarts here dont hire till 18

When I was manager, you had to be 16 to be hired and 18 to handle the animals...I think..my memory is blurry. I drank alot back then. It's the only way I could deal with that place. Having to deal with stupid customers and stupid employees.

A person of age 18 can work at an underground mine or surface mine, doing work off shore for an oil or gas rig.

I don't think petsmart's a factory, so I think that means I'm good to go.

well i wouldnt do it just because you cant drive, it is a big responsibilty, if you dont have a serious dependable form of transportation, i would wait untiil you are 16

but it is a good idea to start a resume, look up resume format online, and it will give you all the basics, the main thing to include is grades, community service, other work experience, and extra curriculars. JUST MAKE SURE it looks professional!

I'm 14, looking for a job too, and I called a bunch of places yesterday. Petsmart said I could fill out an application but there was about 0.01% chance of me getting hired. The only places that said I have a chance at getting hired were McDonalds, Kroger (a grocery store), and a local deli.
