Cant complain about the site, tons of knowledgable members and great topics to browse through, but have you guys considered losing the 5 posts to veiw pics???
It just seems to be more trouble than its worth considering the amount of posts you get on it!
 
This not the first time the legal jargon has caused a stir, why not just tone it down or use what the other boards use.


And Ming I still see you posting on WW, you seem to talk bad about them, but that does not stop you from browsing and posting there:grinyes:
 
Everyone has to go through the same exact thing you did. Its part of this forum. It can suck at first because the required 5 posts seems like an eternity to some people. Its really not that bad though when you think about it. This website has SOOO freakin much to offer, its crazy. To not stick around and reap what the website has to offer, your sellin yourself short and robbing yourself of an awesome opertunity. Just because of a five post count.

I want you to stay around personally because I know you have a lot to offer!! Your into SA/CA cichlids (we must band together to fight off the evil African cichlids...:ROFL: :swear: ) which is totally awesome! I hear yaz all the way there! I'm into them quite a bit as well. Especially Crenicichla (pike cichlids). They are just totally awesome!! The comment about wading through the posts to find some true gems...look no further!! lol!! Come to the Crenicichla and SA/CA cichlid forum.....so much info in there it will take you weeks to read it all. Anywho, I apologize for those who posted irrationally and with out thinkin about what they were saying. WELCOME!!

This post is even better than the "I'm leaving this board" posts that come around every so often.

Simple solution to the legal Jargon - only post what you wouldn't want published, and if you upload photos, copyright them in advance. Problem solved.

It's a good forum with a lot of knowledgeable folks, and you also have your stereotypical teenage "let's watch fish rip apart feeders" mentality. However, the majority of those kids are getting an education and will grow into responsible fishkeepers for the most part.

Welcome to MFK, stick around and learn/contribute rather than crying over 5 posts.
 
The great thing I like about this site is that if someone makes a post with wrong info no one jumps down his/her ass and makes them feel like a fool.... I came to this forum b/c I was looking through and saw there is a few reptile ppl here and ALOT of ppl with the same love as I have for S. American catfish. I don't know everything but I still contribute and I've learned alot from others... No one knows everything but what makes this place my home is that someone knows something... Whatever the question may be about fish or reptiles someone will be able to answer you question. So just do like everyone else does and join the family and drop your 2 cents worth whenever you feel the need. You will see this is the greatest fish forum on the web imo....
