I got my TSN about a week ago and he wont eat anything but "feeders",my other cats eat shrimp and Cichlid Pellets, but this guy just wont accept these.I have bought feeders once already and am about to do it again because he looks skinny again,t thought that being with my other cats he would eat what they eat.Any help or recomandations are greatly appreciated!!!Thanks!!!:cry:

Does starvation work on bigger cats? I've never tried it.
actually it can in some cases most big cats won't starve to death when food is avalible they just have to learn whats food and what isn't a TSN woldn't see a piece of shrimp in the wild

I would try night crawlers or worms of some kind a live night crawler wiggleing around in its face should get its attention

Starve him for a bit-Had to wait nearly two weeks for mine before it would take raw shrimp and freeze dried krill-But he eventually came around....

FYI-I have a bad track record with cats for some reason....

Have no clue-Doubt it though

Wait, so you suggested something you don't think works?

Bigger cats to me-IMO,is something in the ball park of 12 inch and bigger---
I would starve them if under-If over,IMO-I dont think it would be near as easy for them to train over...Hope that makes better sense--

I also did state I am ignorant when it comes to cats....I only post what has worked for me in the past....

I also have no clue what size fish this is..

Yes try hand feeding him the worms he should go for those, i used a pare of tongs from Petsmart to reach down right in front of his face, then he will assocate the tongs or your hand for food and you can branch out to other things like the shrimp, slowly but shurly he should come around, PS dont use fishing night crawlers they have something in them only use the ones from the pet store. Good luck
