I have the same issue! Fish I like (bottom dwellers)- Kuhli loaches, clown loaches, skunk loaches, blue loaches, all cory cats, plecos, raphael cats, pictus, bichir, rope fish, eels, columbian sharks, synos, oil catfish, bumblebee catfish, (pretty much all catfish), zebra loaches, yoyo loaches, dojo loaches, gold dojo loaches, african dwarf frogs, ghost shrimp, bamboo shrimp, pretty much all shrimps, dragon gobies, the list goes on and on

(Mid/top dwellers)..umm.... Bettas...gouramis....hmm...gars...umm...blood parrots..??

I wouldn't call it an issue. Just an inconvenience. What we need is a long, short tank!! Like a 10x3x1..yes, I like this idea..

Not a big fan of bottom dwellers. I only keep one albino bn in each of my 3 tanks for glass cleanup. I had expensive plecos zebra and scarlet and such that I would never see. They just took up bio load so I sold them. Me I like schooling characins that are always moving and stay in the open. Bottom dwellers are cool just not for me.

Same. I enjoy catfish mostly. I love my 3 cats, channel, Lima, and sun. I have an ornate bichir but I never see him.
