a few years ago ST were every were in SGP and you used to get the odd few in the UK
but now IT are everywere at a very small size along with NGT who knows within a few years all the other tigers maybe gone
what happens to all thease tigers thousand of ST were sold to the fish trade were are all the adults gone
you say you have all got loads of baby IT,AT,NTT and NGT i wonder how many of the will reach the 12inch mark

well hopefully in a few years there'll be an abundance of various species of big Tigers around. But yeah it does make you wonder...

large tigers are few and far between and getting one too 12-15'' is a very long process taking quite a few years in the aquarium.
i would say same goes for wild fish what happens when the stocks run low, it takes approx 15 month to double the population but what if the same happens next year to them if the area they are from has the same problems ie the D pulcher.
it seems the IT's and others are really in abundance in the wild at present but things can change and i hope this does not change.
