Seriously dude - shaking bottles, calls with Seachem, testing, more testing, more chemicals, waiting for weeks - Wow!

I maintain a fishroom of around 50 tanks. Haven't tested water in years. Haven't bought anything from Seachem (other than Prime) ever (and switched to much cheaper / less stinky Chloram-X).

Establishing beneficial bacteria such that a tank is ready for fish isn't this hard.

If you've added media from another tank or filter, then add some fish.

Man i dont see y u r making this harder then is really is.... U are going to spend money that's not needed run stability for the 8 days and bam cycle is good...... (With fish)

Yup. The only time that I can understand why you would be overly cautious is if the intended occupant for the tank was really sensitive to nitrites and ammonia and happened to be a really rare or expensive fish.
