I'm baaaaack

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Hahaha no, COOKIE FISH is the lung, and it's still chill as can be! Although my daughter does confuse them sometimes since they're both dark cylindrical water dwellers lol. Thanks for the well wishes!
thank goodness it wasn't COOKIE FISH. That would have been devastating. Lately I have been obsessed with Cookie fish. Probably because your daughter gave it such a great name!

She's a keeper lol
glad she likes polys. She sounds awesome. MUST LIKE POLYS!;)

Well, this time it's not a poly OR COOKIE FISH (Sorry I tried, it wasn't cooperating with photos today haha), but it's another fish many of you can appreciate :)

This little guy basically lived in a PVC pipe... for months, only ducking it's head out of the pipe to snatch food and then ducking back in. Introduced to the big boy tank and immediately got chummy with the juruparis and as of today is eating like a bottomless pit :D

This guy has been in growout for probably about 4 months... got it at a LFS at about the size of a quarter. This is my second try at growing out a pearsei, first one mysteriously went belly up when it was a little smaller than this guy :( Seems like this one is going to keep on trucking though!

Zilch Zilch , very nice!

Cute little pearsei. They can be quite shy when young but when they start to grow you see some funny stuff. They take time to develop but they are worth the time. Looking forward to the updates.

I know the feeling. I went through a few different pearsei before I got my Porkchop. They are pretty tough fish but strange things can and do happen in fish keeping.
