Hi guys,

Due to work, I took a long break from fish keeping and stupidly sold all my tanks...
But a month of so ago, I suddenly felt the urge to get back in and got myself a tiny 20 gallon tank.

I used to be big time into snakeheads and I still find them fascinating, this time around though, I decided to go back to my roots so to speak and get a wolf fish...
Having had a breeding pair of hoplias malabaricus 30 years ago, I do have a soft spot for them..wolfs are just awesome fish.
Still a 20 gallon tank is not nearly big enough, so instead I found a red hi fin wolf... a bit more manageable size...but of course it needs a bigger tank in due time, so I'm already looking for a much bigger tank.

I suddenly realized just how much I missed this hobby and all the great people on MFK!

It's great to be back!!

welcome back, breeding wolves huh? Get back into that and move stateside lol

Actually, I found breeding the common wolf was pretty easy as long as you had a good pair.
The problem I had was feeding the fry.... they lay a lot of eggs!

Welcome back..you know you belong right here
