Subscribed, looking good! Any ideas as far as stock?

Oh yeah, got that covered already. My pacus have gotten too big to be in one tank so one is in a 125G and the other is in a 150G. Down to one small pleco right now and several Dempseys. I've had the pacus since they were babies basically. Not more than 2 inches and now the smaller of the two is over 18 inches. Also have a few feeders (goldfish) that escaped the wrath of being eaten and have since grown considerably. I'd like to add oscars and cats once the big tank is done.

Hoping to sand and Sweetwater this weekend!!

Quick question for others who've done fiberglass, do you think the outside should be done? I've at least double all the seams inside.

The only big build like that i've seen with no external bracing would be greenterra's he did his inside and out with fiber glass and it seems to be holding fine.http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=319933

personally after some of the issues i have had i would fiber glass the whole in side and out side. i tried to do the whole inside and just the outside seams but had failures and leaks (for more then one reason) but it is alot of pressure to hold on those seams.

Also from what i've read that fiber glassing the out side gives you much more support and helps stop bowing. which make sense to me because when i think about it the tank is trying to bow outwards and if the out side is covered in resin and fiber glass then it would have to stretch it to bow. if that makes sense

And another thing about fiberglassing the outside....if you get a leak from the inside you will never know it because the water will be trapped between the inner and outer layers of fiberglass silently eating away at the wood. Thats why I would not fiberglass the outside. Great build, cant wait to see it filled with H20!
