You want a really mean one?
Black wolf looks nice but they cost quite expensive, it costs between $400-600 dollar in fish store, which i don't recommend you to get unless you are rich. Rainbow wolf is a good choice, although not very tough and aggressive, it looks pretty when it extends its dorsal fin and more active comparing to other wolves.
My Hoplias Mala used to be a stone no matter what i do, change water, grab with my hands, it gets threathened. Until two days ago, I moved the tank into a corner, now it is not afraid of light anymore, when i approach to the tank it swims to me and try to bite me. But it looks scary and very tough, when it jumps, your aquarium hood might fly away.

I think he tries to bite you because he's stuck in a 29g tank
