I'm cursed, now my AC 110 died

looked today and its dead.

Didn't keep box or receipt.

give the impellter a flick with you finger. that should get it spinning again.

a burned out aquaclear is a very very rare thing. some of mine are 15 years old and counting..

Careful though, they have been known to be so powerful that they will suck sand even through a prefilter. If this is the case you may have to throw it in the dump and go with a Whisper filter instead

if your motor ever dies just buy a new one...it would be way more cheaper than to actually go out and buy a new filter...FYI

I got a pretty old one that takes a licking and keeps on ticking but its louder than hell!

Take it apart and clean the impeller and casing thoroughly. 3 months is long enough to let it go...
then
put the media back in it and you're good to go for another 3 months...
Oh and tell us that you do not have carbon in there, just bio-max and foam...right??!?
