Hi,it happened to me too,not with my python but with my milksnakes,if the door to the room was closed when it escaped chances are that its still there, try searching at night, after a few hours that the lights in the room have been turned off, waiting still with a flash light at hand.

Good news, everyone!

Little Ramses is found, fed, watered, heated, and securely locked up and I am a very happy girl!

I set up another heat spot on the floor in my room, and when I woke up from a nap, I checked it thinking "What the hell. Can't hurt." Of course, like every other day, I found it empty. But, when I turned around to leave the room, he was sitting there crawling along under the baseboards near my door.

I'm sure I don't need to tell all you other snake owners how wonderful a feeling that is!

I've lost two snakes in the past and always found them in the bathroom.

I attest this to always leaving a dirty pile of clothes in the bathroom floor - seems to make them feel safe, coupled with water in the area. Hehe.
