I'm finally getting Monsterized!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Always go with the biggest you can i say, i did like yourself and your Mrs, she said all i could have was a 50g:cry:, this was about 12 months ago, then it grew to 150g,and now its 500g:headbang2

All it takes is time mate.

Me myself like sand but then i have rays and they go together like, well rays and sand LOL.

I would love live plants but my severums will just eat them, but i would say lots of nice live plants also.

Good luck mate with whatever you do:headbang2

I have two fluval fx5s on my 150 and they work good. If you can find one for a good price id think about a 180 the extra depth will really come in handy and give you more stocking choices.

My first big tank was a 150g, I think it was 72"x18"x28"tall. I liked the size of it, great tank! As already mentioned, go as big as you can because you will want something bigger.

300 gallon and then call it quits!!

Yeah, go 180. Better to ask forgiveness than permission. And 2 fx5s would be good until you get a sump.

X2 Upgrade your plan from 150 to 180. Its still 6' and its only 30 gallons more so it should be an easy sell, but the added depth is awesome.

ive always had plants in my smaller tanks and i thought when i got my 125 gal tank it be cool to just have sand rocks and driftwood. that lasted a month and now its full of plants. i have two emperor 400's and they've been doing awesome i wouldn't go any less though

150G, bigger is better especially with tanks plus i believe AC110's or maybe Fluval..
