Is it possible to use a square piece of glass larger than the crack cover one side with silicone caulk and press it over the cracked area. Of course all glass needs be completely dry, inside crack too. Cure for at least 24 to 48 hours or until the vinegar smell goes away. it will not look great but if it is on back or ends it might be worth a try.
