I'm getting a 300g tank for free

If the tank is acrylic tank don't use paper towers, use only products (paper towels, sponges, scrubers) designed for acrylic and plastics or your scratch the h*ll out of it. Did that with my 300gal acrylic tank, but when its filled it becomes alot less noticable.

It's hopeless! Nothing you do will work. Your best bet is to give the tank to a brackish fish keeper who lives in NJ!

Just rinse it out and you should be ready to go. A little salt should not hurt your fish.
