Ive a 35cm+ male BD with a fully rolled claspers and i also have 35cm+ female BD which i supposed already mature also. Both are around 2.5-3 years old roughly.

Im getting a little impatient seeing no mating signs yet!!!

I think i should put a TV in front of the tank and play stingrays mating videos from youtube 24/7 so they know what they need to do!!!

Oh boy.. never thought waitin them to get their thing done would be this hard lol

What that suppose to mean hahaha

Thanks!! Never knew that.. Should i put a chiller to drop the temp? Could i use spray bar to mimic raindrops? Would that help?.

Just do a large water change with cool water....like 4 or 5 degrees below normal just before a low pressure system approaches your area. Watch your local weather for an approaching storm or heavy rain. When the barometer is dropping, do the cool water change. It also helps to feed a bit heavy leading up to the weather change.

It simulates the start of the rainy season. Somehow the rays seem to sense the pressure drop in the atmosphere...the cool water simulates heavy rain. It works for a lot of South American fish. I've used this method to trigger breeding with discus and rams as well.

Yes sir it works on cichla too

Ok so basically just do more big WC with cold water than i normally do?.

Any other things i should try?

If you do regular water changes sometimes I just get lucky with an incoming storm. Depends on how much time you have, normally I just change the water regularly with cooler water
