im getting a rtc today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I hate threads like these. First thing people do is start flaming on the op for buying a cat that gets big. Sure, you may all be right that he only has a 125 and no intentions on getting a bigger tank/pond, but he may. You guys don't know. It sounds like a broken record. This, and all the info regurtitators that have no experience is the reason why I don't get on this site anymore. First day I get on in a while and this is the thread I see.

Congrats! I'd love to get one some day....When the kids grow up, move out and I can turn one of their rooms into a big indoor pond:D I still have a while as my oldest is only 6.

what creepyoldguy said x2 squared, to the op good luck they are very cute at that size they do grow fast and its very very easy to get attached to them even though you can only look at them through the glass but you can get them to hand feed and let you rub their tummy enjoy

Lovely little cat you got there

Brings back memories from a few month back when i got my hybrid.

I anint going to give you grief mate like some tend to jump to do on here, i dont know you or your plans or abilitys, so good luck mate and enjoy, you will love him and you WILL get attatched.
I am very much attached to mine, enough as to keep him after eating my arowana last week, i nearly got rid today but i couldnt do it, there for today i went to the local fish market and got a load of off cuts and boxed then to last a few months. cheap as hell from buying fresh fillets etc.

Aint going to go on but dont let folk put you off mate on keeping these fish, do what you can for him and as soon as you think you will find it hard to home sell him on WELL in advance to a experianced owner.

I did a thread a while back about `Are we actualy MFK`ers, well as i thought most of are not actualy, as we sell on before they are actualy monster fish.

He a wee crackers mate:)

Sad people still purchase these even though they know they have no intentions on giving them a proper home.

:ROFL::ROFL:

I've had mine for a year next month, got it at a cute lil' 2" too. Thing is a beast, awesome looking. Just keep it well fed, but pay attention to the water conditions as they are sensitive, and don't use any meds (I have uv lights on all my tanks).

congrats on your new kitten!!!
