im getting my first p-bass tomorow..

Well, I noticed a little ick starting to form on one of their fins, so I started treating them with medication. I also raised the temp of the tank up by 2 degrees to help with that. The stress from the raise in temperature combined with the medication and a heavy feeding of rosies the day before that spiked the nitrates by .5 a point was too much for them. They were fine when I left the house at noon, came back at 4 and they were gonners. :( Had them for about 3 weeks. They were so cool....
 
hey thanks for the advice, and i know your right about getting 2. the shipment comes in tomorow and i know there getting 6 of them i had them put 1 on hold and then called back and told them 2. i think the guy at the lfs is getting tired of me calling everyday to see if they have come in yet. i might have to make one more call to tell him to hold 3........lol. you just cant find these guys anywhere in my area

If there really rare in your area you might aswell save yourself the hasslle and getting yourself a few.. It will save you from posting up that WTB ad for pbass later on lol :)

its easy to regret getting just 1, but no one regrets getting more the 1, unless they are over priced:nilly:...gl and have fun...oh yeah 1 more thing....GO NINERS!!!:headbang2
 
everything in my area is over priced but thats just the way it is, its very hard to find some of the rarer types of fish, you know i have only seen 1 datnoid in my area and he wasent for sale........crazy so i just suck it up and pay a little more for what i want............its still cheaper than shipping them here
 
jeff rapps has some rare wild caught orinos... you could just order them from him if your going to pay alot for farmies.... why not do it right from the start?!
 
3 more hours till i get to pick up my new little p-bass.........i know i sound like a 10 year old girl on christmas eve but its taken me a while to get these guys here
