i got teh exact same problem. my tank has been set up for at least 2 months now and it never actually looked crystal clear. now its so cloudy green that i cant see the back of the tank. never gets better when i do water changes. i use the water that comes from my bath faucet and add amquel+ conditioner. do bacterial blooms happen after 2 months? i only got little mbunas.
my tank downstairs uses the same water but that one is crystal clear. even when i stir up the tank and it looks like dark grey, the water clears up back to normal. =(
i think it could be the lighting problem. since i turn on the lights from 3pm-3am. maybe thats the same reason why your tank is cloudy.
