One of my favorite fish to keep is pictus catfish. Petsmart now wants $11 bucks each, up drastically from $8. Walmart wants just under $5 each. Considering I want a shoal, which do you think Im going with? WM is basically 2 for 1. They look healthy and are similar sized fish. Now to set up the 20 antique for em.
The pictus I saw at wall mart are much smaller and less healthy looking. I bet you have a local store near you for them. Pet smart sells based on size, mine has three sizes of those guys. I have two myself and god I love them

walmart fish are terrible and i would not advise buying from them. quality is very low and ich will break out as soon as you put them in your tank. if you don't mind taking a risk, go for it.
These are the results I expected. Lol. Krylos again, the price is literally 2 for 1. Petsmart has them but they are $11 each compared to same sized fish of less than $5 each. They do NOT have ick, they are active and look good.
I travel for work and usually end up in walmarts sooner or later ive seen some good fish and some bad ones Nd have bought both the store where i live is decent with healthy fish but no selection one a hour away has a lot of different fish and some cooler stuff but lot of dead fish or lights off and not for sale a lot. I think it all depends on the workers actually giving a **** and who cares what anyone else says go for it......
