Arrow crabs eat bristle worms, but I don't know if they will eat them when they are that big. They will keep the smaller ones under control. I'm pretty sure they will leave your snails alone. The one I had never bothered my snails.

Mum said the bigger worm will be about 12inch? This one i'd say is 7-8inch but they freakily stretch :S i've still got it in a tub in my room haha I dunno what to do with it, might just flush it.

I would just flush it or pour it out in the grass or something.. Haha and again you keep putting awesome sigs in your posts lol.. Congrats on the little one. Do you know if it's a boy or girl?

Thats not big, its just long... lol I'd personally keep it... but I like things like this (I'm unusual like that). I only ditch the ones that get HUGE, like around the middle, as it means they need bigger food items to live therefore risking the life of my inverts.
