I wouldnt call it "big risk"

1 in a billion is big when it comes to being paralized, they do it in the spine, any spine manipulation is scary bizz...

Underwater birth? I've heard of it, but does anyone actually do this? I realize that the mother is not completely underwater, but it still makes me think of a woman and all the doctors wearing SCUBA gear...

My wife delivered our first child without pain killers, in most of the world this is the norm. Our second was delivered caesarean due to our little girl being breach, needless to say she had meds for that one!

Yes, people do this, babies are born able to swim... The "norm" is no drugs??? lol

I have heard of the risks before I never heard of it happening to someone. I wouldn't say its a big risk but a risk none the less.

Hey, risk is risk when it comes to baby and mom...

Baby Emma was born at 3.45am on the 1st September after being in labour 4hours on gas and air, no cuts only slight internal graze whatever that is lol

I managed at home til 12am and got to 4cm then to 5cm by 2.30am last 5cm and pushing within an hour ( don't mean to gloat but damn I'm good )

Emma was born safely and crying weighing a tiny but feisty 5lb 8 ( after midwife that day told me to expect 8lb )

I'm home tomorrow and can't wait! I'm soooo in love and breast feeding well, she's lovely and content and doesn't cry lol

X x x thanks for all the congrats!

I am so happy for you, healthy baby, healthy mom, most ideal of all outcomes. I miss ya, you will be a great mommy.
